Langford, B.C., March 7, 2010
Submitted by: Ken Keating

Although Darrell Midgley never accepts a winning trophy, in Hornet Car racing, he sure makes it interesting and exciting. Such was the case this afternoon in yet another run for the Steve Copp Construction sponsored Winter Series Enduro race for Hornet Cars. Twenty cars lined up for two hours or two-hundred laps of racing on a cool day with light showers for most of the race that didn't seem to slow the drivers down by a whole lot. BODINE'S "NIGHT TRAIN"
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida ‹ From the goldmines near the Phakisa Freeway Circuit in Welkom, Free State, South Africa to the Whistler Sliding Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Geoff Bodine can truly say he has been surrounded by gold so far this year. Over the weekend, his "Night Train" bobsled won the gold medal in the four-man bobsled event at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
"USA OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL BOBSLEDDER STEVE HOLCOMB,YOU ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO STEVE AND ALL OUR BOBSLEDDER ATHLETES AND TO OUR GIRLS BRINGING HOME THE BRONZE", Bodine posted on his Facebook page. The win ended a 62-year gold medal drought for the four-man USA Bobsled team.

The four-man team team consisted of Steve Holcomb, Driver; Justin Olson, Push athlete; Steve Mesler, Push Athlete; and Curtis Tomasevicz, Brakeman won the gold medal by 0.38 seconds over the favored Germany 1 team.

Bodine was in attendance to see witness the historical event.

It was a successful Olympics for the Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project as the women's team with Erin Pac and Elana Meyers took the bronze medal. The team of Bree Schaaf and Emily Azevedo was fifth and Shauna Rohbock and Michelle Rzepa was sixth.

Holcomb and Tomasevicz finished sixth in the two-man competition.

Holcomb's gold medal achieved the goal that Bodine, the 1986 Daytona 500 champion, set in 1992 after he noticed that USA Bobsled was competing with European made sleds. He teamed up with Bob Cuneo, owner of Chassis Dyanmics and they created the Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project Inc., a "Made in America" sled project. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City they broke the medal drought with a silver and a bronze in the four-man competition along with a gold in the women's competition.

The win on Saturday, along with Bodine being there, fulfilled a long time dream, "I always watched the Olympics when I was a boy and dreamed about being up there," Bodine said in a statement on the Bo-Dyn Bobsled site. "When I see our bobsled athletes on the podium it is like it is me up there."

Last month, Bodine was behind the wheel of a stock car and competed in the ASA Transcontinental Series Free State 500 event at the Phakisa Freeway Circuit in Welkom, Free State, South Africa. He was the fast qualifier for the event and was on his way to victory until he ran out of fuel with three laps to go, handing the win over to John Mickel.

Bodine is also an active competitor in the ISCARS Dash Series Sanctioned by ASA.

"We are very excited for Geoff and his Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project on achieving this great accomplishment," Dennis Huth, ASA President. "Geoff is very proud of this project and it shows that hard work pays off. As we were surrounded by gold mines at Phakisa, Geoff would smile anytime someone asked him about his bobsled project. He had a good feeling after the four-man team won the world championships last year and we are pleased that he was there to witness it in person."

"I remember starting out and how tough it was," stated Biffle. "I would work on other people's race cars during the day and then mine all night. I think it's important having a racetrack and series that operates week in and week out, giving every driver a place to showcase all their hard work."

"I grew up racing on small tracks in the Northwest and I'm excited about partnering with Jerry to provide a safe and exciting place for guys to race," explained Biffle. IGNITE RACE FUEL
Submitted by: Andrew doCouto Race Director

Ignite Race Fuels is offering a premium product to the racing industry and has chosen us to help them market this product to our fellow racers. We have the opportunity to be the leaders in making this fuel one of the pinnacle fuels in motorsports. As with all new ventures there will be some trials and tribulations, along with details to work out. Taking ownership and developing any product as your own in business is good business, and let's face it we are all in the business of Motorsports.

Just like Fountain tire has done with Goodyear, and McDonalds with their Big Mac, many companies are well known for their exclusivity of a product or service in their market place. This empowers them to attract new product in the future, or increases their buying power with current suppliers who are looking to get involved with a well know presence in the market place. With our proven track record, we now could command a higher discount or in our case, a larger investment from the company into our race programs for marketing their product or service. The BIG PICTURE means larger purses, bigger year end points funds, and recognition by your team's marketing partners involvement.

Ignite is available in 108, 111, and 114 octane ratings. Each batch of fuel distilled and mixed is tested to make sure it meets all of the properties and specifications designed to work for our race cars in that octane group. The yellow 111 octane product has been specifically formulated for higher compression engines, with the 108 green being recommended in most racing applications. Ignite assures the racer that each barrel of fuel will be the same and will not fluctuate in octane and other important properties. This fuel will run cleaner and the engine will run cooler thanks to its Ethanol component.

You will need to change a few things on your race car to make it compatible with running this fuel, however like most things in life sometimes you have to look at it as short term pain for long term gain. For those interested you can contact me personally and we can discuss what is needed. Tests have shown that racers will consume between 10%-13% more of this product compared to conventional racing fuels. However this fuel is less expensive by almost $150 per barrel. Details on price are still in negotiations due to the governments looking at how much tax they will apply to the fuel. We are looking for volunteers to help us test this fuel in the ARCA West Series, and yes there is some direct assistance from Ignite and ARCA West for switching over race cars to being compatible.

In closing, Jasper Engines received product for testing on some race engines in December, and I am working on getting some results for us. Willie's Carbs is on board with dyno testing and change overs. With ARCA West being the series of choice, supply will not be an issue to our drivers. We have been given the opportunity to join other leading edge companies in this pioneering venture. Let's make it ours!!!!

For more info on this fuel, please contact me personally, or visit the website

KYLE BUSCH TAKES SECOND SPEEDFEST IN A ROW
Braselton, GA (January 31, 2010) - Kyle Busch led 214 laps as he dominated the Sixth Annual Speedfest Sunday afternoon at Lanier national Speedway, winning by nearly a second over second place Steven Wallace in a star filled lineup that included Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Jason Hogan, Jeff Fultz, Bubba Pollard and Johnny VanDoorn. Speedfest 2010 started on a cold and wet note as Saturday's practice and qualifying was washed out by a
persistent mist as the temperature hovered around freezing. Sunday was clear and warmer with a bright sun helping to dry the track for the full day of activities including practice, qualifying, an on the track autograph session and the feature events.
